Private Classes - practice with me at a time and place that suits you...

Private class packages include three one-on-one classes at a mutually appropriate time and location either in Rotorua, New Zealand or online via Skype.

If you are new to yoga, have recurring running injuries and/or limited time to fit in your running and cross-training then a Private Package is a great option for you.

  • ​Prior to our first 90-minute class you will complete a questionnaire which will help identify the key challenges you are facing and how these are affecting your running...SO we can tailor your package to be perfectly suited for your needs AND make sure we spend as much effective time together using yoga to get results.
 
  • During our first meeting we will review these outcomes, identify which aspects of yoga will be most beneficial for you and do some initial practice in these areas.
 
  • The following two 60-minute classes will be specifically designed to ensure that you get the most out of your yoga practice.

The goal is to help you develop your own regular yoga practice and to inspire and challenge you to become a better runner.  ​
By working together one-on-one we have the opportunity to work at the appropriate pace and explore any challenges that you may have on a much deeper level than in my public classes.  
​
  • You will gain an understanding of WHAT you are doing, WHY you are doing it and how it will benefit you in your running and in life in general.  

  • We can explore anatomy and physiology as well bio-mechanical habits that can impact on your running (weak glutes, tense shoulders, hunching over, asymmetry and poor balance). 

  • You will learn how to CHECK-IN with yourself to identify recurring habits and how to resolve them before they have a longer-term impact on your running.

Private classes will give you the the opportunity to focus on your running.  You will have increased confidence in your own running ability and be inspired to take on new running challenges.

  • You will gain a deeper understanding of the complementary effects of yoga and running and how you can harness these to enhance your running.  
 
  • With action, you will see marked benefits after just one session, particularly in your focus and motivation.
 
  • The physical benefits of the yoga classes will take more time to manifest, but with practice you should notice improvements in your running form, technique and overall balance.
